Directly responsible for the power plant warranty supports. A key objective will be to develop and improve the O&M team and its practices. Oversee power plant operation (aero derivative gas turbine generator) and ensure customer operations are as per GE’s recommendation. Conduct daily routine checks and monitor condition of the plant’s critical components & systems. Assist customer’s plant personnel in operating the power plant (with engineering supports from GE head office). Assist customer for troubleshooting technical issues with engineering supports from HO. Facilitate the communication with customer and GE for the warranty process. Arrange the logistics for the warranty parts replacement & returns. Co-ordinate with customer & GE for the warranty remedies (including FSE, parts & logistics). Creating, updating & maintaining the warranty documentations as per GE & customer requirements. The position will be based on a one (1) year contract with the aim of supporting the warranty and operation. Oversees safe operation & maintenance of equipment at assigned power plant. Ensures safety of employees, contractor and public in all maintenance activities in operating plants. Coordinates schedules and conducts mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance repair and preventative maintenance. Organizes and oversees the repairing activities in the workshop. Develops and maintains maintenance management program with customer, GE and PLN. Ensures compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations during the plant operation & maintenance activities. Support the customer’s O&M team to Schedules materials, equipment and personnel for plant outages and overhauls. Participates in the planning and scheduling of plant activities. Coordinate plant maintenance outages with local hosts and utilities. Maintains needed site spare parts in coordination with customer’s maintenance personnel and the GE CPM / Service Manager. On-call 24 hours/day 7 days/week to respond to potential power plant problems.


  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies, laws and regulations
  • Support the customer operations team members to ensure that they perform all the duties necessary to safely and efficiently operate the plant equipment.
  • Support customer to accomplishes day to day work in the power plant.
  • Support customer to manages overall equipment maintenance function at assigned power plant.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines tactical approach, resources, schedules and goals. Prepares and communicates work schedules / part requirements to GE CPM /SM.
  • Works within general guidelines; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems for a function.
  • Manages warranty functions within operation and maintenance function for 1 year.

  • In-depth experience in o & m of a large power plant
  • In-depth experience in the role of warranty support rep
  • Proven knowledge of gas turbine plant, primarily on GE LM2500
  • Experience with plant startup & shutdown, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, and general plant process knowledge
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet models and reports
  • Mechanical / Control / Electrical certifications preferred
  • BS degree preferred (with 5 years experiences
  • Diploma with 8 years of experience
